Job Description
Planning Officer required by a Local Authority based in London. You will be assisting in ensuring that planning activities relating to building refurbishment/construction or transport meets the economic and social needs of people. Must have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. You will have previous experience and knowledge of planning policies and procedures. You will have experience with CAD software and GIS systems, undertaking research and evaluating data. Must be able to make transparent and objective judgements. You will have good report writing skills and must be able to work as part of a team. You will be degree level educated or equivalent. This is an initial 3 month contract position.
