Job Description

Our client, a leading name in the construction industry is now looking for a Senior Surveyor to join a new regional office near Dartford in Kent. You will be reporting into the commercial manager on a regular basis.
You will be working on various types of projects ranging from health, education, national government right through to leisure + fitness.
The projects range in value, generally between £5million and £35million.

You will need to have at least 9-10 years experience with at least 2years at senior project surveyor level. Ideally have a quantity surveying degree but a lower level with substantial experience is acceptable.

Your main responsibilities will be :

Drive and maintain a high level of financial & commercial control of the project
Be a lead team member
Support the Operations Director or Manager in achieving successful project delivery
Identify and eliminate risk
Ensure accurate, real-time reporting
Maximise project target whilst maintaining client and supply chain relationships
Tackle difficult issues early by promoting early resolution to problems
Aspire to the very highest standards of quality, service and business performance
Actively develop and strengthen relationships with clients and their teams, and our own supply chain in order to maximise team and business goals
