Job Description

Planning Policy Planner is required by a Local Authority based in Northamptonshire. You will be dealing with the Planning Policy implementation, preparation and reviewing of Planning Policy for the development and use of land. You will guide and inform decisions made on planning applications and what types of developments are suitable for each area. Responsibilities include, providing policy advice, monitoring various services to the public and other external organisations and advising the council on appropriate strategic, regional and national planning. You will be degree level qualified or equivalent and be a car owner and driver.
