All staff will be expected to help break the cycle of rejection by providing validating interactions, maintaining constructive therapeutic relationships and by engaging in self-reflective practice.

DUTIES:
Through collaboration with other disciplines, develops and delivers clinical services to patients in order to maintain, promote and re-establish psychological adjustment, and to reduce the risk of re-offending or psychological relapse.
Maintains a defined caseload; size and composition to be agreed with the Clinical Director (Mental Health) and subject to regular review.
Contributes to the admission pre-assessment of patients referred to the Personality Disorder Service.
Provides full clinical assessment of patients admitted, including clinical formulation, risk assessment, functional analysis of offending behaviour and personality disorder diagnosis.
Takes a lead role in providing risk management plans and case managing individual psychological treatment plans.
Contributes to the individual and group treatment programme and provides oversight and direction for the cognitive-interpersonal elements.
