This role has been created so as the Assistant Psychologist is able to assist the clinical team with the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of individual or group treatment programmes and with the psychological assessment of patients and any related treatment interventions.

Legible written skills with sound report writing capabilities.

Able to work to deadlines in a pressurised environment.
An accomplished communicator able to transmit and receive information quickly, accurately and consistently.
A good understanding of and an ability to use research and audit skills to promote and improve care standards.
Presentation skills including presenting detailed and complex information in an understandable way to a mixed audience

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Psychology degree (2:1 or 2:2 with post grad qualifications).
Minimum of six months post-graduate experience of working in a health-care environment.
Record keeping to a high standard of content, accuracy and presentation.

OTHER:
Current, clean, full car driving licence.
A good positive role model for patients and colleagues.
A detailed understanding of models of care for the client group.
