There clients include central and local government, as well as key private sector organisations, and there work includes projects such as Tottenham Hale Interchange Study, Smart City Malta Masterplan, the 2012 Olympics bid, revenue forecasting for rail franchises, Crossrail, mergers and acquisitions, and major contributions to the promotion of sustainable and socially responsible approaches to development and transport.

This consultancy are looking to expand their Traffic Highway team and are looking for a Senior Traffic engineer your principal accountabilities for the position of Senior Traffic Engineer will be:

YOUR ROLE
To provide traffic management design and modelling for public and private sector clients. Your work will include the preliminary and feasibility design of high profile schemes, assessment of signal design options, preferred scheme design and quality monitoring.

You will also have the responsibility of managing and supervising a number of traffic graduates and more senior engineers. You will be providing support to clients, analysis, assessment and presentation of results.

You will be implementing production of preliminary and detailed traffic management schemes, including roundabout and junction improvements as well as design and development of cycle facilities across London

YOUR SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
Ideally your knowledge skills and expertise should consist of you having completed a degree ideally within Engineering or equivalent, As a senior traffic engineer you will have experience in the field of Traffic engineering with relevant technical experience.

You will have a good understanding of Local authorities and will be proficient in the use of IT, as well as tools such as ARCADY, OSCADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT and VISSIM.

You will have experience working with clients to provide solutions to traffic and transport problems, and the ability to take projects from inception to satisfactory conclusion to time and budget.
