Job Description

Due to recent expansion in their active sites, they urgently require experienced Construction Planners and Construction Planning Managers for 2008.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Planners and Planning Managers are responsible for the overall planning and programming of the project from Site Acquisition to Hand-over.

Responsible for the Project Planning Department, the Project Planning Manager is required to supervise any staff within the department to ensure his/her planning responsibilities are met.

In general the Planners and Planning Managers will assist all Construction and Project Managers in the preparation of Construction Programmes, Planning Procedures, Site Logistical Layouts, Appearance Layouts, Progress Monitoring and Reporting throughout the life cycle of the project. In addition, the Planning Manager will be required to assist the Construction and Project Managers in the management of sub-contractor design development and project co-ordination.

Construction Planning & Progress Monitoring
Progress Reports

Person Specification:
Proficiency with either Asta PowerProject or Primavera P3.
Significant previous construction planning experience.
A relevant degree would be advantageous, not essential.
Strong communication and team-working skills.
Eligible to work in the UK.
