A new fresh and innovative building services consultancy is looking for Senior Building Services Design Engineers to be involved in a multitude of existing and up coming projects. In its 12 years of existence this consultancy has quickly risen rapidly to the top of the top by being very selective in the types of projects that they are involved with and completing them to standards that are far better than required. This has enabled them to continue to be able to work with the most interesting projects around the world including the Gherkin and the Central Market at Abu Dhabi. As a result the companies and clients which this consultancy works with include Foster and Partners, Dolce and Gabanna and Real Madrid FC.
As a Senior Building Services Design Engineer you will be:
• Producing electrical and/mechanical designs for a wide range of projects.
• This might include cable sizing, cable tray sizing, boilers, HVAC, lighting, fire alarms, load calculations and much more.
• Conducting client, design and management meetings.
• Liaising with architects, contractors, sub-contractors and other Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineers.
To be successful as a Senior Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer, the following personal traits would be advantageous:
• Strong technical knowledge of Amtech, Cymap and/or DIALUX as well as an understanding of AutoCAD
• Take pride in providing high quality work on time
• Strong client facing skills and the ability to keep clients happy so as to attract future/repeat business
• Supervisory/management skills
