This local authority in north west London has recently restructured the traffic and transportation department and they are now seeking a traffic technician to assist the engineers with various projects around the borough.

Working with the whole team, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting and supporting the whole department, working on various different traffic and transportation projects. This role will give you the opportunity to gain experience in traffic calming, traffic management, and drafting work using AutoCAD LT.

You will be bright and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. This team is looking for someone they can rely on to work independently on a variety of projects, so you will need to be confident and adaptable with excellent communication skills. You will have a good working knowledge of the traffic industry, preferably with experience within a public sector environment. Experience with AutoCAD is essential and applicants with experience on AutoCAD LT will have the advantage.
