Job Description
Project Engineer! Working as an integral member of the Highways Team, you will be managing large and small projects from inception to completion as Project Engineer.
Acting on behalf of one of London’s highest profile commission, Transport for London (TfL), you will advise councils, Highways Consultancies and Contractors on projects. From the initial stage of policy through to the detailed implementation of schemes, you will be involved at every stage.
Your responsibilities will also include:
• Overseeing, managing and developing a section of the professional and technical staff
• Managing contractors
• Advising the Section Manager on the merits of strategies and the allocation of grants.
• Monitoring and implementing programmes in accordance with financial and quality objectives.
Using your engineering knowledge with particular expertise in traffic engineering and highway design, you will implement quality and calculated projects.
Requirements:
• Engineering degree or equivalent.
