Job Description

A major multi-national property consultancy with offices in central London are looking for an senior urban designer to undertake existing and future urban design commissions and generate new and lucrative work-streams from existing and new clients in the public and private sectors.

You will serve as team leader in managing and undertaking urban design commissions, coordinating urban design staff and integrating work with the other disciplines in London and south east planning development and regeneration teams. You will provide urban design expertise to support commissions undertaken by the regeneration team and other business units in the UK and NI.

You will represent the urban design team to clients, other consultants and other business units. Generate new business through relationship building and securing competitive tenders in the established East, South East and London markets for both design led and multi-disciplinary commissions.

You will be qualified in urban design or related discipline (such as landscape architecture, architecture or spatial planning) and have proven analytical, design, communication and presentation skills.

The client will consider candidates on either a contract or a permanent basis. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
