This unitary authority based in north London is looking to appoint a Gas Quality Inspector to fill a vacancy in their busy team. This authority is based in one of the largest and greenest of all the London boroughs, one third of the borough is made up of green belt which makes it a great place to work and within easy traveling distance of the city. Our client is proud of their low turn over of agency staff with many contractors staying for long periods of time.

This job will involve the inspection of CP12 certificates and onsite inspection of servicing works in domestic properties. Successful applicants will be required to supervise contractors and the installation of new and existing systems and work alongside members of the public to ensure all work is carried out to the right standards.

Applicants will need to have a good solid background in gas installation as well as the ability to carry out inspections and supervise installations. Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not essential if the applicant has substantial installation experience. ACS CCN1 is essential and it is preferred that applicants are CORGI registered. Successful applicants will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable them to work alongside the public and contractors. A Full UK driving license and own transport is essential.
