Job Description
A Local Authority in Berkshire is looking to appoint a Town Planner to their Policy department.
The Policy Planner role will involve making contributions to the delivery of the Council's statutory strategic land use and local planning policies. Represent the council at public enquiries as well as interpret and implement national and strategic policy and guidance in relation to planning policy and development in the Berkshire area.
As the Policy Planner you will provide specialist policy advice, analysis, monitoring and other information to officers, prospective developers and the general public to ensure the proper development of the Borough.
The appointed Policy Planner will have a Town Planning degree or equivalent, as well as necessary previous planning policy experience in the UK.
