This business-minded practice with a practical, positive approach to architecture are seeking an architectural technician to join their expanding Suffolk practice.

This is an exciting time for the practice with an expansion of workload across the East of England and into London, with some exciting new commissions. They are looking for a confident and experienced Technician or Technologist to fill an unexpected vacancy.

The key clients in their business are:

· Developers - Residential, Commercial and Leisure.
· Hotel owners
· Housing Associations

The practice does not have a 'house style'; rather aim for consistency of delivery. This means they can encourage staff to play to their strengths and develop new skills. They are not hierarchical, and operate in teams of up to 8 where everyone is encouraged to be involved in all aspects of projects, including design, drawing and client liaison. Each office holds a monthly practice meeting for the exchange of news, work plans and ideas. They aim to encourage all staff to develop their career with them.

· To provide the normal professional practice of a technician/technologist including assisting in all RIBA job stages, including work in the office and site work as appropriate.

· To apply computer skills to produce production information on the computer software provided by the practice.

· To engage in client liaison with the support of our new Practice Manager.

· To take an active part in the development and success of the office design team.
