A great opportunity has arisen with a leading South London Borough. The client is looking for an interim manager for the traffic and transport team until the end of March 2005, possibly extending to June 2005. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience of managing teams of people, civil engineering qualifications and a minimum two years traffic engineering experience. The team is currently going through a re-organisation and the staff need a good deal of assistance. The interim manager will be required to keep the work flowing whilst re-organisation takes place. Work will include: Traffic and parking schemes, accidental remedy schemes, transport projects, traffic management orders, cycling, buses, road safety and contact management. The client is looking to fill the role as soon as possible so a quick response is advised.
