Our Local Authority clients are currently offering interesting opportunities within their Design teams and we are looking for Traffic Engineers with experience in traffic management and road safety. You will be working on high profile projects from feasibility through detailed design and consultation up to implementation of schemes including School Travel Plans, Bus Stop Accessibility and local safety measures. Duties will include preparing designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, programmes and cost estimates for specific jobs and evaluating engineering problems. You should have a good knowledge of legislative procedures including consultation processes and be able to communicate well with excellent written skills. AutoCAD skills and the ability to work with minimal direction are essential. Candidates should have experience of traffic management schemes, bus priority, road safety schemes.
