Our client, a successful consultancy is looking for a talented Civil engineer to work on the coordination of utilities based in London (NW1). The role will include working as part of the utilities team and providing technical support to other work streams such as Bridges, Highways, Geotechnics and Drainage along with Site Enabling Works.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of services that are required to support the work for which the client is currently engaged in.
The utilities are:
HV cables, EHV cable, medium and low pressure gas, district heating mains, chilled water mains, potable water, telecoms ducts street lighting and street lighting.
The successful candidate will have utility experience for highways and bridges and have achieved a relevant professional qualification.
With prior experience leading teams on multi-disciplinary projects you will be able to understand the balance of engineering priorities on differing projects. Having excellent communication, planning and organisational skills you will quickly develop successful client relationships and demonstrate strong commercial awareness. The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines will be essential.
