Job Description
Our client, based in South London, are looking for a Development COntrol Planner (Statutory Planner) to join their area team on a contract basis.
Candidates must be able to:
Consider and determine planning applications, applications for Certificates of Lawfulness, Listed building consent, and the display of advertisements
Draft reports for the Development Control Manager and on occassion the Council's Planning Applications Committee.
Prepare the Council's written submissions in connection with planning appeals.
To participate in the Section's Duty Officer Rota and to provide clear and concise guidance in response to day to planning inquiries from the general public.
