Job Description

Essentially this position is best suited to an experienced Team Leader or to a Principal Planner looking to broaden their experience particularly in reference to managing a DC Area Team.

The suitable candidate will:

•Undertake senior supervisory, procedural and managerial functions involved in checking of applications, post, decision-making, monitoring and other relevant duties.
•Deal with a wide range of planning and other applications including those of a more complex natures, negotiations with applicants and their agents, and suitable consultations.
•Represent the Development Control Team Leader at Planning Committee meetings as required
