The team heading up the renowned Thameslink Programme requires a Rail Commercial Manager based in London.

As Commercial Manager you will be required to provide post-contract commercial management of medium value/medium risk activity and support pre-contract activity within the project delivery teams scope of work, you will also provide specialist commercial advise, guidance and recommendations to mitigate commercial risks.

This role will be based in their London Thameslink Headquarters, looking at Cost Forecasting, Anticipated Final Cost, and Cost of Work Done. You will monitor and manage all commercial aspects of allocated projects. A Rail Commercial Manager provides pro-active advice and guidance to Project Managers on all changes, through out the projects you will produce all appropriate correspondence for all cost, change and final account settlements.

Essential skills of a Rail Commercial Manager are significant experience in commercially managing investment projects, good level of understanding in the Railway and construction industry and the associated forms of contract.
