Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to lead a team of up to ten staff delivering to a wide portfolio of Utility Company, D&B contractor, Developer and internal clients in the areas of:

Urban Drainage Design and drainage infrastructure

SUDS and Integrated Urban Drainage Management

Wastewater treament works

inland waterways and regeneration

Large diameter pipeline construction and maintenence.

This role reports directly to the Divisional Director, working as part of the Management Team alongside existing Team Leaders within the division.

The principal accountabilitites of this role include:

Day to day general management of team members, encouraging learning and continuous professional development
Generation of new business and establishing effective working relationships with exisiting clients.

Financial responsibility for projects undertaken by the team
Appropriate utilisation of team members
There is also a long term responsibility to grow the team and business.Prospective candidates who wish to apply should:

Be a Chartered Civil Engineer (ICE / CIWEM)

Be technically strong in the areas of drainage, infrastructure and general Water Engineering with a 'hands-on' approach to technical delivery
Have a proven ability to successfully manage a portfolio of projects
Proven line management experience (including developing and mentoring team members)

Sound hydraulic modelling experience (Hydrowork, Microdrainage) and a familiaristion with relevant legislation would be an advantage.
