Job Description

The post requires considerable general design experience including concrete and steel structures, piling etc, preferably within the marine environment as well as coastal structures.

Experience is required in report writing and preparation of contract documents would be an advantage. To be responsible to team leader and project managers, liaising with clients and to assist in the development of team members.

The succesfull Candidate will be required to meet the demand for increasing maritime design requirements and should be able to enhance current design capability, filling an essential role between existing senior / Principal Engineers and Graduate Staff.
Candidate is required to have the following qualifications:

BSc / BEng - Civil Engineering or
Msc / MEng - Civil Engineering / Civil and Maritime Engineering


Competencies
Candidate should have the ability to:

Undertake design of Marine and Inland Waterways Schemes. Liaising with Clients and Contractors
Be self motivated and take responsibility for own workload and that of other team members, and also should be able to deliver a high quality of work.
