If you enjoy working in the countryside, but don’t want to be too far from towns, this location would suit you. The pub is ideally situated in a picturesque village, just 15 minutes from Reading and half an hour from Oxford, bus stop 2 minutes away with regular services into Reading and beautiful Henley.
We are a 14th century country inn consisting of 12 stylish bedrooms, a function room and a busy bistro style restaurant that has earned us a proud reputation for fine food and service.
We currently have 4 vacancies to fill We would consider Singles or Couples
1. Ideal candidate would have Bar and Waiting experience, be of smart appearance and above all a smiley, happy personality.
2. A Housekeeper who understands the importance of clean and well-presented rooms to ensure our customer’s satisfaction.
3. A General Assistant who is versatile enough to do housekeeping 2 days per week, kitchen porter duties 2 days per week and general maintenance 1 day per week.
4. A Commis Chef willing to learn and work with our team of chefs. Daily changing modern menu means input is welcome.
We offer live-in accommodation for all positions, own room in staff house within walking distance, kitchen and laundry facilities, a negotiable salary plus tips.
