Job Description
A Surrey council would like to recruit a Planning Officer.
As the appointed Planning Officer you will be required to provide pre-application advice and general planning advice to commercial companies, planning consultants and the Council's public in relation to mineral working, waste disposal and the Council's own development.
Also when dealing with planning applications, you will need to liaise with the technical consultees and the applicants on aspects of the application and respond positively and effectively to queries from the public.
The successful Planning Officer will have similar work experience as well as a recognised Town Planning degree. Overseas candidates are welcome to apply.
