Job Description

A Maintenance/Health and Safety Manager is required for work in an elderly Care Home in East Finchley, North London.

The successful Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the overall Maintenannce of this large home including residents rooms, bathrooms and Facilities so a knowledge of Building Services is a must. You will also need to have a relevant Health and Safety Qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH) as you will be the appointed person on site.

You will work alongside the Chief Executive of the home in setting up new Maintenance Procedures and PPM and ensuring the Care Home is fully up to date with all Health and Safety regulations.

As the Maintenance Manager you will supervise 2 permanent staff and any Sub Contractors that may be required on site.

You will also need to be strongly customer focused as you will be in contact with vulnerable elderly people on a day to day basis.
