Site / Project Manager – Groundworks & Residential. Live requirement in Tottenham, for a young expanding dynamic company with an already impressive track record in delivering large projects within budget on target and of superior quality. The expertise comes from a team of highly motivated professional employees already involved.

The scope of operations is based primarily on new build residential work, both low rise and multi-storey RC frames, with the associated infrastructure of a project of this nature. Working for the contractor you will have a pivotal role in ensuring that the construction phases and momentum are maintained, whilst working with the developer to meet their requirements to meet finished blocks for sale.

Experience and a good working Knowledge of:
• Concrete Basement and Concrete Frame Construction
• Roads and Sewer Construction
• Foundation Installation and Construction
• Large External Works Projects

..will be required, as well as a sound ability to programme works, prepare viable Method Statements and comply with Healthy & Safety legislation.

Forward planning and a controlled expansion programme have ensured that there is work secured with completion dates of summer 2008 and on to 2009.

The successful candidate is probably going to have an Engineering background and be formally educated to a tertiary level, however if you have come up through the ranks and can read drawings, have good written and oral communication skills and have plenty of drive – please apply. You need to be an experienced, enthusiastic person with the equivalent of 6 to 8 years relevant site and contractor based experience, with an up to date understanding of Health & Safety requirements. You will be expected to show a good understanding of Groundworks, Civils and simple RC frames as necessary.

Good future prospects, with ongoing training if required and an attractive remuneration package are available. You must be a self starter with the ability to inspire trust in both the workforce and your clients in equal measure, so the ability to clearly communicate in written and oral terms is necessary. All applicants must be able demonstrate relevant recent UK experience and be legally permitted to live and work in the UK.
