Job Description

Engineer / Surveyor. Established Contractor is currently looking for an additional experienced Engineer / Surveyor who can help with the control of the dimensional accuracy of this new project. The drawings will all be issued in electronic format and you should have had previous experience in establishing primary and secondary controls and reporting on and verifying all aspects of the setting out.

Preferably, you will have had a minimum of 1 -2 years setting out in field conditions on large projects, ideally for a contractor, be able to read and understand architectural, construction and services drawings, have good AutoCAD skills and a CSCS certificate. RC experience is preferable as you must understand how RC frames are constructed and must be able to read RC drawings in order to set out for the following packages.

Clear communication skills, both orally and written, with the ability to pass on information to the labour force, a confident approach in dealing with the main contractor resolving drawing and information queries, a good work ethic that will lead to solving problems with your colleagues are all attributes of the Engineer / Surveyor sought.
