Project Manager – Demolition and Builders works. Engineer trained/ qualified or Trades background. This successful Contractor is currently looking for a suitably experienced Project Manager to run a new project. Initial demolition and builder’s works will amount to some £1.5m over 28/30 weeks.

Your Experience will probably have given you a minimum of 5 -7 years working in the construction and structural refurbishment fields, preferably for a contractor, be able to produce suitable Method Statements, read and understand architectural, construction and services drawings, with a CSCS certificate, and permission to live and work in the UK.

The Project is a multi-storey office development set on a busy city site, so you will need to have experience in working in congested areas. A working knowledge of minor demolition, and the sequences of works to follow, or RC frame experience on a fast track development, where you need to be able to function in a number of aspects at the same time will be the background that you require here.

Clear communication and good Engineering training / understanding, with the ability to liaise clearly both with the client and the directly employed site staff, a confident approach in dealing with the main contractor resolving drawing and information queries, a good work ethic with your colleagues are all attributes of the Project Manager that we are seeking.
