An opportunity has arisen within a large Global Civil Engineering contractoring company operating within the UK at present for a Sub-Agent.

Company
This multi million £ Olympic project run by a prestigious blue chip company is looking for an experienced sub-agent or senior engineer who is ready to make the step up. The company provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK, with this position being part of a large team construction part of the Olympics 2012.

Main Duties
As Sub-Agent you will be working very closely with the Section Agent and Project Manager to effectively manage and monitor costs of the project you are based on, together with the management of sub-contractor programmes, control and monitoring of safety in line with the method statements and risk assessments and company standards and assisting with the compliance including Quality Systems. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs in respect to training and further professional development.

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
• Previous demonstrated experience in delivering projects through on site supervision and management of construction activities
• A willingness and competency in order to step up into a management based role.
• A practical minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills
• A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to be a leader.
