Job Description

You will also undertake aspects of scheme design from inception,
through to detailed design and the provision of support to the construction
team.
You will contribute to delivering designs to programme and budget.
You will be able to work on your own initiative and to be responsible for
design, drawing production and direction of others as required.
Your role may include communicating directly with clients, contractors
and other external third parties.

The successful candidate will be experienced in the production of
highways drawings using AutoCAD 2006/2007 and Microstation Version
8/XM and have an understanding of system configuration of both
AutoCAD and Microstation.
You will be familiar with MX, Autosign, Autotrack and PDSLine software.
You will have an understanding of highway design principles and
experience of the design of highways or infrastructure schemes. You will
have knowledge of the Highways Agency's DMRB and SHW.
You will be a Technician Member of the ICE or have equivalent
experience and qualifications.
