Job Description
Our client is expanding significantly and have excelllent opportunities for Senior Hydraulic Modellers / Hydrologists to progress their career. Successful candidates will manage, supervise and undertake computational hydraulic modelling for flood risk analysis within the Water Environment section of the Environment Business Unit. Providing guidance and supervision to engineers and hydraulic modellers. Undertaking project management and client liaison of a variety of environmental commissions with an emphasis on water engineering.

Person Specification
Previous exposure to hydraulic modelling is essential, preferably in the area of flood risk although other disciplines will be considered. The post will have knowledge of standard industry hydraulic modelling packages such as HEC-RAS, ISIS, (1D) and may have some 2 dimensional project exposure. Although training will be provided it is expected that the candidate will have previously demonstrated a competency. Drainage engineering will be considered as an advantage for the candidate, as will some knowledge of GIS packages. Excellent communication skills are required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
