A Local Authority based in London requires a Regeneration Officer on an initial 3 month contract basis. You will be working in partnership to promote the economic, social and environmental regeneration through the effective development, co-ordination, funding and management of projects and programmes in line with European, national and local priorities. You will be leading and co-ordinating strategies and projects for the regeneration of District Centres. You will lead and be responsible for the work of project teams/staff from time to time delivering area programmes. Duties include, maintaining positive relationships with relevant public private, and voluntary organisations, and the community, and promote a partnership approach to area regeneration and managing project budgets, taking responsibility for financial planning, procurement, monitoring, reporting and control. Must have previous experience in a similar role. You will be degree level qualified or equivalent and be a car owner and driver.
