Job Description
You will be working for a Local Authority; you will become a member of one of the Traffic Engineering teams, reporting directly to the Principal Engineer. Your experience should be based in investigation, design, planning, implementation and monitoring of traffic management schemes.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
•Ability to carry out feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design and implementation of projects
•Able to carry out report writing, public consultation and prepare scheme justifications
•Skilled in the use of AutoCAD and other software packages
•Experience of managing contractors on site
•Experience in preparation of cost estimates and bills of quantity
•Highly motivated and able to work as part of a team but with a minimum of supervision
This is a great opportunity for any candidate to build up there experience within the Civil Engineering sector, being rewarded with in house support and training.
