Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Cobham in Surrey. You will be working on a £25m leisure facility for the University of Surrey based in the Guildford area.
You will have a strong knowledge of the industry and come from a main contractor background. You will ideally have a BSc, BTEC OND or HND qualification in Quantity Surveying although this is not essential.
Your key responsibilities will be :
" Deal with pre-contract tender negotiations and reports
" Monthly cost reports and forecasts
" Value management/Value engineering exercises
" Review and completion of sub-contract budget reports
" Cost control
" Preparation and agreement of interim applications
" Preparation and agreement of final accounts
" Assist in management of project team

You would have worked on a variety of projects at a senior level. A keen eye for detail and an organised approach are essential for this role. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required at this level. Our client has a clear management structure and offer's excellent training and opportunity for career progression.
