Job Description
Our client is an International multi-discipline consultancy providing engineering, environmental, planning and management services to a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors.
Due to continued growth in their modern Manchester offices my client now needs to employ a Principal Geotechnical engineer to join the geo-environmental team.
You will be part of a busy and vibrant office with plenty of scope to develop your career. Duties will include;
•Interpretation of desk study and site investigation data relating to geotechnical/ground engineering services
•Management of projects and business development
•Mentoring and supervision of more junior staff
•Carrying out detailed designs for a range of ground engineering solutions to include slope stabilisation, earth retaining structures and foundations.
Candidates will have a degree or equivalent in a related subject and will be chartered OR near chartered with a solid consultancy background.
