Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified professional to join one of our growing practice areas. The jobholder will be required to undertake geotechnical design work, coach and mentor other members of the team, produce preliminary and detailed geotechnical designs, oversee the whole design process and manage small teams.
About You
As a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer you will be Chartered and have a BSc (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Geology or Engineering Geology. In addition, you will have significant experience of geotechnical engineering predominantly within a design office; and knowledge of retaining wall, piling and FE/FD programmes. An MSc (or equivalent) in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or Foundation Engineering; and geotechnical engineering experience for road, rail and infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
