One of the World’s largest and most dynamic engineering consultancies is seeking to appoint a Senior Waste Management Consultant to join their team in the West Midlands. This is an exciting and highly challenging role entailing in-depth involvement in various, multi-faceted, technical projects and collaboration with other senior staff in marketing and business development issues to ensure the continued expansion of our clients already highly successful Waste Management business. The successful candidate will be degree qualified, chartered and possess at least 8 years relevant consultancy experience. You will have particular experience in several of the following fields: Integrated waste management strategy, PFI for waste infrastructure, Design and implementation of non-landfill orientated waste management systems such as recycling, composting and transfer stations, Waste collection methods and Contract procurement. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an equal spread of knowledge and experience across these fields rather than being biased towards one particular aspect. This position offers the successful candidate an interesting and varied workload, the opportunity to lead major projects and the responsibility of mentoring other members of staff and influencing the direction of the teams development.
