Job Description
Project Managers x 2 for Civils, RC & Infrastructure Contractor. Immediate requirements for a robust and growing Contractor that was founded 15 years ago to provide high quality services to the construction industry.
The Projects.
1. An £8m RC frame with a deep basement, complicated groundworks, drainage and split level floors. Commercial build with adjoining leisure facility.
2. A £2m Structural “cut and carve” to incorporate basement extension below ground with new build extension to the property above ground.
Company profile. The portfolio for the business continues to grow and they are now able to offer clients a highly-skilled workforce in groundworks, civil engineering, construction, decommissioning, demolition, land remediation, drainage solutions and reinforced concrete frames as well as having specialist divisions in the design and construction of basements.
Scope of Works includes:
• Demolition
• Groundworks
• Land Remediation
• RC frames
• Basements and Specialist Underpinning
• Drainage and External Works
• Ground Improvements
Your Role. As the Company grows they are engaging in a structured expansion and growth programme. This involves creating 2 new positions for Projects Managers. Reporting directly to a Contracts Manager or Director you will be directly responsible for the construction and financial success of your scheme.
Your Profile will probably include a Civil Engineering Degree, a good track record of working with a recognised main or sub-contractor in the Civils or RC arenas where you may have been a No.2 on a large project and be seeking a chance to progress or have already run a number of projects and are seeking the chance to demonstrate untapped potential for a responsive employer.

Health & Safety are of extremely high importance on all the sites and the Company monitors levels of health and safety and understands the importance of integrating and working closely with site teams to ensure a safe working environment for everyone concerned. All employees hold relevant certificates for plant and machinery and are CPCS/CITB/CSCS cardholders and the Company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements as dictated by the HSE. You will be expected to promote a strong Health & Safety culture.
Rewards are definitely above the industry average but will only be offered to applicants who can clearly show that they have the requisite skills. Fully IT conversant, you will have good oral and written communication skills. A full and valid driving licence will be needed, as will CSCS certification. Only applicants who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered for the posts.
