Job Description
This rapidly expanding south-west council seek a number of Freelance Urban Designers to meet project demands. You will co-ordinate and manage consultants and working groups, provide informed advice to Development Control Officers and working groups and build effective relationships with key stakeholders including the general public.
You will be comfortable delivering policy guidance and advice notes on urban design issues whilst creating business plans for individual projects and conducting detailed financial appraisals. You must be creative, flexible and able to think outside the square.
You will be well versed in relevant legislation, familiar with local government practices and seasoned in providing design advice for diverse development proposals.
