Job Description
Approved Social Worker required for West London Social Services team with Mental Health background. Suitable candidates will be Qualified Social Workers with substantial Post-Qualifying Mental Health experience. Experience of undertaking assessments with service users and carers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the impact of mental illness.
The Approved Social Worker hired will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary CMHT; carry out assessments on people with severe and enduring mental health needs, and taking on the role of CPA Care Co-ordinator. To act as Approved Social Worker [ASW] or to undertake training to become an ASW.
This is initially a 3 month contract on a full time basis. However, it is likely to be extended following this.
