Job Description

A multidiscipline quantity surveying and project management practice have one vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor with 3 years post Grad Experience preferably from a cost consultancy background. They have an array of projects from Educational to Residential, Commercial, etc.
The suitable candidate should be diligent, hardworking, ambitious and committed to achieve an excellent standard of work.
Opportunities exist for the individual to progress in Cork, Dublin and London offices. The sucessful candidate will be based in the London office.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Budget estimates
• Preparation of bills of Quantities
• Monthly payment valuation
• Preparation of Final Accounts (under supervision)
• Preparation of contract Documents
• Attending site meetings.
• Attending design team meetings.
Requirements:
• Degree qualified relevant to the industry
• 3 years post graduation experience (preferably from a Consultancy background)
• Competent in measurement. Proficient in use of measurement software (e.g. Buildsoft)
• Pre-contract and post contract project experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Computer literate (Word, Excell, Outlook, etc.)
• Full driving license essential preferable
• Attendance at site meetings
• Report to Chartered Quantity Surveyor
• Flexibility to adapt to changes
