Project Quantity Surveyors x 3. A leading contractor has 3 new sites with project values from £14 to £32million and is actively seeking dedicated Project Quantity Surveyors. Salaries are indicative and if you have suitable skills salaries will not be a limiting factor.

Quantity Surveyors with formal qualifications are preferred, though you will not be discounted if you have adequate and relevant practical experience with the necessary commercial skills to be a stand alone QS. There will be Project Managers assigned to each site to run the practical elements with the Construction Managers.

You will ideally be based in or around London to facilitate easy commuting to both the company offices and the sites. The majority of the Contractor’s work is within a 3 0 mile radius of central London so you will be staying locally once you move on from these projects. It is likely that you will currently be working for a main contractor and seeking the challenge and rewards offered by a contractor, or working for a competitor and not being fully rewarded for your efforts.

A minimum of 3 to 5 year's experience in the RC, heavy civils or build sectors will have given you an adequate level of understanding of the industry. Surveyors who wish to continue ongoing training will be encouraged to do so. The Contractor is keen to take on Quantity Surveyors who enjoy the challenge of the contractors market, and wish to earn excellent salaries as you demonstrate your worth.

The projects range from the traditional RC frame for commercial and residential on multi storey projects, to the turnkey schemes that are forming the current new workload. With 3 of the current projects having multiple phases additional staff are required for the secured work that is coming on stream and to be involved in targeting new work.
