A Luxury Hotel and Spa located in rural Berkshire requires a Restaurant Manager to work in its 2 rosette, 4* restaurant. Since joining the hotel when it opened 14 years ago, the Head Chef has created a menu which offers a choice of both modern and traditional dishes. By using fresh produce that is locally sourced and simply prepared he prepares dishes that are light and stylish in their appearance, and combine classical combinations and seasonal ingredients. As well as producing gourmet dishes for the hotel guests the restaurants are also able to seat private functions of up to 140 covers. Located in the heart of Berkshire's rolling countryside the hotel has 111 rooms including doubles and suites. Having strong leadership skills, the successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a similar role, preferably within a 4* environment. He/she will be smart in appearance, be polite and courteous and be able to work efficiently under pressure. Able to work under their own initiative he/she will be a team player with a positive outlook, enthusiastic, with good communication and customer care skills.
