This is a great opportunity for a Technician to join a professional services group with over 80 UK offices and a turnover of £375m, at their head office in Surrey.

The Highways Technician in Surrey will ensure that MX technical expertise is available to an experienced and growing highways team, to support the delivery of highway design solutions from conception to realisation.

The successful applicant's accountabilities will include technical MX input to highways design. You will undertake design functions largely within MX to local authority and national highway standards, and have the ability to utilise technician resources within the team to ensure achievement of project outputs. Liaison and communication with more experienced MX operators and designers within the team is essential. In addition you will have to consider the wider implications of the project.

You must have a minimum ONC in Civil/Highways Engineering qualification and you may be working towards higher academic qualifications. Relevant experience working on a highways related discipline would be an advantage, and you may have previously worked with either the Highways Agency, local authorities, regional development agencies or the private sector.
