Job Description

We have a constant need for contract shift engineers to work on prestigeous projects in London and the South East.

As the shift engineer you will be responsible for the running of the shift, managing health and safety, co-ordinating operations with the tunnel agents, keeping records and monotoring the TBM utilising the 'Z' System.

This project involves:

 Utilities diversions
 Shaft sinking
 Shot-Crete
 TBM works
 Tunnel fit-out and Finishing works

The position is responsible for providing the engineering and survey support to the tunnelling operations. The successful candidate will also be assisting the tunnel Forman in all aspects of the running of the tunnel during the shift.
 This position offers excellent career progression through development and training even in a contract role.
 HNC level qualification required
 Tunneling experience preferred but not essential. On the job training is given.
 Long term project's.

The successful applicants will be offered between £21 and £24 per hour depending on experience.
