The company:

A leading firm of engineering consultants providing a comprehensive range of services in conjunction with the built environment. Active in all sectors of the construction market, the company undertakes new buildings, refurbishment schemes in the public and private sectors. They work in conjunction with a network of strategic partners to provide services throughout the UK, France, Italy, India, Netherlands, Spain and the UAE.

Brief Summary of Role:

Seeking a strong team player and ambitious person to join the design team at London Bridge. You will gain extensive experience working with signature architects on a wide variety of challenging buildings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Membership of Institution of Structural Engineers or Institution of Civil Engineers. Chartership is essential for this level.

Experience:

Theoretical and practical understanding and application of design and British standards, complemented by a clear understanding of organizational goals and policies; strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage technical and/or non-technical staff; effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills; and a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Projects

A forty storey iconic building based in the city, a 100 year old building conversion to function as a hospital extension to meet the publics needs. Refurbishment of a listed building within a local village to function as a hotel.

Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience plus private company healthcare, life assurance, 24 days holiday, contributory pension, performance related bonus and childcare vouchers.
