Our Client, a large International consultancy, currently has an opportunity within their highways team for you to make your mark and influence their continuing growth.

You will be part of a team of engineers and technicians working on a variety of different projects. As part of the design team you shall assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, scheme orders and detailed highway design for major projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
Essential Criteria:
· You shall possess a degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Studies.
· Have achieved or be working towards CEng and MICE status or equivalent.
· In depth knowledge of DMRB
· You should have experience in the design and procurement of major highway schemes.
· Basic knowledge of project management and contractual issues.
· Good IT skills are essential.
· Confident with proven interpersonal and communication skills.
· Capable of managing a challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
Desirable Criteria:
· Experience of MX or drainage design would be an advantage.
· Experience of construction supervision.
· Awareness of different contract types and procurement options.
