Job Description
My Client is known for its high profile and innovative office projects. They add value to our clients businesses through imaginative and effective design solutions. The practice has been at the forefront of the revolution in workplace design over the past decade, often involving the integration of leading edge technology.
They have successfully completed millions of square feet for clients in the legal, financial, media, property, IT and public sectors.
Currently the Firm are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to work on large commercial fit-outs in Central London.
Duties will involve:
Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements and ideas
Developing a design that suits the needs of the client, the available budget and the type of building
Preparing initial sketches for the approval of the client
Advising on colour schemes, fabrics, fittings and furniture
Working out costs and preparing estimates
Developing initial sketches into detailed drawings, usually on a computer.
You may also recommend people to carry out the work on site, and supervise their progress.
