Job Description
A leading consultancy seeks a talented bridge engineer to join its busy team in the North East.
Preparing bridge assessments and design calculations for railway underbridges and highway bridges, you will need the ability to plan and co-ordinate structural inspections and surveys to agreed timescales and on budget. You will also be a mentor to less experienced engineers.
Ideally working towards chartership, you will have experience of working on highways or rail bridges and knowledge of all aspects of bridge engineering design and assessment. With a proven background of structural maintenance, design and examination, your familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Superstress, Lusas and Microsoft Word software will be supported by good communication skills and plenty of initiative.
