A leading international consultancy seeks Graduate Engineers for their busy Leeds office to work on a variety of bridge management, maintenance, design and development schemes in both the highway and rail sector. The Bridges team serves clients across the M62 corridor from Liverpool to Hull and also in Northern Ireland.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop and progress within the company. The successful applicant will be encouraged to join their graduate Training Programme and will be supported towards attaining Chartered status.

You will be responsible for the preparation of bridge design and drawings, undertaking assessment and inspection of existing bridge stocks, assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies for strengthening and repair, interfacing with multi-disciplinary project teams, and ensuring compliance with appropriate design and health and safety standards

Interested candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, be able to demonstrate an aptitude for structural design, possess good communication skills (both written and oral) and knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications. Experience or knowledge of design packages such as SuperStress, ARCHIE and SAM-LEAP5 would be an advantage but not essential.
